About the project
The traditional image of the Italian villa was the starting point for one of two concepts our studio developed for the developer of a residential complex in Sardinia. In Heritage, we combined classical finishes and artisanal details with contemporary furniture and a relaxed, light-filled setting.
Ornamental mouldings, decorative plaster, handmade textiles and hand-formed tiles define the character of the interior. Cream tones and warm timber unify the space, while olive and terracotta upholstery adds colour. Arched openings and relief surrounds emphasise the classical foundation.
In the living room, a composition of elongated pendants complements the moulded ceiling, while the simple sofa and armchairs balance the richness of the finishes. The kitchen, with timber fronts and a pale island, continues the overall palette. A large dining table by the window becomes a place for shared meals and gatherings.
The bedrooms introduce botanical patterns, upholstered headboards and more intimate colour combinations. The bathrooms develop the theme of textured ceramics and rounded forms. The variety of details preserves the feeling of a lived-in home, where traditional techniques sit naturally alongside contemporary comfort.
